    Essential Utilities Announces Ed Vallejo as New Investor Relations Director

    Vallejo brings decades of investor relations experience to the Essential team

    BRYN MAWR, Pa., February 28, 2025–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Essential Utilities Inc. (NYSE: WTRG) announced today the appointment of Ed Vallejo as the company’s new investor relations director.

    “We are excited to welcome Ed to the Essential team,” said Essential Chairman and CEO Christopher Franklin. “With a wealth of experience in investor relations, including more than 20 years in the water and wastewater industry, Ed will be an invaluable asset to Essential as we tell our story of growth and operational excellence to investors and potential investors.”

    As investor relations director, Vallejo will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with Essential’s shareholders and the overall financial community. His duties include crafting all investor-focused communications, including presentations and earnings materials.

    Vallejo joins Essential with more than 30 years of experience, most recently serving as the Managing Director-Investor Relations Advisory for INSPIR Group, a New York City-based investor relations strategy firm. He previously worked in various capacities in investor relations, investment banking and financial planning and strategy, among other roles.

    Vallejo holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from New York Institute of Technology.

    He serves on the Board for The Welcoming Center in Philadelphia, which promotes thriving communities through immigrant integration.
