Huntsville may soon pay more for electricity, trash services

    October 11, 20241 Min Read

Many in Huntsville could soon have to dig deeper to pay for power and garbage collection.

Huntsville City Councilors will vote in two weeks on separate proposals from Huntsville Utilities and from Public Works that would raise electric rates 5.3% and solid waste collection fees by $8 per month.

Both would take effect in two phases.
